Mindoro Tour. Puerto Galera-Pandan Island. 2009/2010 7 Days/6 nights
Amazing tour, virgin coasts and beaches, snorkeling on corals reefs.

Mindoro island. So close to Manila but so far from modern civilisation. Cross forests on earth roads close to where nomadic Mangyan tribes live, and where you can still find the last remaining Philippine wild buffalos called "Tamaraw".
The journey has 2 parts : one in Pandan Island, a small private island far from the beaten tracks; the second part is in Puerto Galera, a tourist resort area, world famous for diving &sailing with some great beaches.
ITINERARY:
Day 1:
Flight Manila/SanJose (Mindoro). Transfer to Sablayan and Pandan island, a paradise islet in South China sea (3hrs ride by private minivan + 15mns boat crossing). Lunch, dinner and Overnight Pandan island.
Day 2+3:
Two days free to enjoy exotic Pandan island (Fullboard and overnight in native style bungalows). Many activities are available : Scuba diving, paddle boat, boat excursions and visits on the wild mainland, etc...
Day 4:
Breakfast Pandan. Back to Mindoro and transfer along the west coastal road to the north coast to Abra De Ilog (3h ride). From there start navigating along the wild northern coast to Puerto Galera and its beautiful natural harbour. Check in at Coco beach resort . Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight at the resort.
Day 5+6:
Two days to relax in Puerto Galera and enjoy beaches surrounded by jungle. (Bed & Breakfast at Coco beach resort). Coco beach is a private beach in the area with white sand and colorful coral reefs, excellent for snorkeling or scuba diving. The resort has 2 swimming pools and many other activities to enjoy.
Day 7:
Breakfast Coco beach. Transfer back to Manila via Coco beach regular shuttle (1h by boat + 3h by land) ( Note : Depending on San Jose flight schedules, the journey could be made in reverse order ).
Prices are from $460 USD net per person based on double accomodation. Supplement for single room.

Requirements

- Dates for promo season (applicable for Coco beach) : from 1 May to 30 October 2009.

- Dates for regular season (applicable for Coco beach) : from 1 November 2009 to 30 March 2010, except high season.

- Supplement for peak season in Coco beach (20Dec/2Jan 2009 + 12/16 Feb 2010 + 31 March-4 April 2010) 7 nights minimum for Christmas, 5 nights for Chinese New year and Easter.

The price includes:

- All transportation (Air, Land and Sea ) including 1 domestic flight Manila/SanJose, minivan or jeepney and banca in Mindoro, regular Coco beach shuttle back to Manila (to your hotel or to airport...)

- Accommodation: +3 nights fullboard in Pandan Island +3 nights bed & breakfast at Coco beach (deluxe room) in Puerto Galera.

The price does not include:

Airport taxes, drinks, personal expenses and insurance ; Activities in Pandan island or Puerto Galera ; Others Meals in Puerto Galera.
REMARKS:
- Season: From October to June, the best months are February to May: Dry and hot.
- Equipment: Hat, sunglasses, sun protector, mask and snorkel, waterproof bag for camera and video to protect your equipment during boat transfers and dust on Mindoro dirt roads.
EXTENSIONS:
* From Pandan Island, you can reach Busuanga on North Palawan archipelago. Boat trip is 5 to 7 hours, open to all adventurers. Price on request. Then you can continue your journey with our tour: BUSUANGA ISLAND HOPPING, or with just a stay in Busuanga. In which case, we reverse the itinerary and start with Puerto Galera, and deduct the cost of flight San Jose/Manila and the transfer rate Pandan/San Jose.
